Most-Ignored Scriptures by JWs
by Mad Sweeney inthe watchtower has been known for over 130 years as a great scriptural cherry-picker.
they pick out disparate unrelated verses and combine them to support the wackiest of wacky doctrines.. on the other hand there are many scriptures they almost never address, whether because they contradict wt doctrine or because they simply don't have a clue what they mean or how to spin them to the wt advantage.. one of these is revelation 19:1 that mentions a "great crowd" "in heaven.
" the only time it is ever brought up it is dismissed.

Jehovah's Witnesses Are Under Mind Control
by minimus inif you were to tell a witness that they were "brainwashed" or that they were "under mind control", they certainly would not rationally accept it.the reason is because witnesses cannot distinguish between mind control and "obeying the faithful and discreet slave".
it is only after a person stops exposing himself to the subtle mind controlling tactics of the watchtower that a person can see how thoroughly duped they are in their beliefs.
how might you be able to tell that you are no longer your own person, able to make your own decisions in your life?

@Aguest - I've just read page 2, and I'm having trouble understanding what you are saying. Why would an Almighty God, with limitless power, need to hide spirit beings from enemy spirits who are inferior in power to himself? Why could he not simply protect them from these beings? And if these enemies of the seed don't know who the beings they are looking for reside within, why don't they just kill everyone on Earth who mentions Jesus/YHVH, or that isn't an atheist ?

What age should you get baptized?
by newcomer1982 inas from today i am disfellowshipped.
my parents cant talk to me and alot of issues have arisen which i have mentioned in my other posts.
i got baptized at 14 and i think it is way to young to make such a decision which will affect your whole life.

Sorry to hear about your parents shunning you, all I can say is that they might change or even wake up themselves one day.. I was regularly berated by family for not being ready for baptism. I was even publicly humiliated with comments about people not getting baptised, how ungrateful etc. , when I was the only unbaptised person at the gathering! Many think that 18 is late, that teenagers should be getting baptised.. I'm afraid that the pressure on children seems to be increasing at the moment.
